CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

2008 Long Term Care HIT Summit - Presented by AHIMA, AHCA/NCAL, AAHSA/CAST, AMDA, and NASL

The deadlines to enter new abstracts and to edit existing abstracts have been reached.

Notification of Acceptance

Authors will be notified via email by the end of March 2008. Notification will include date, time and duration of presentation. Preliminary information is subject to change.

Our Speakers

The Program Committee aims to select the best, most relevant and timely topics for the 2008 LTC HIT Summit. Speakers for the meeting are chosen from a broad cross-section of experts in the HIT/EHR and the Aging Services community. The program committee reserves the right to combine speakers/sessions as needed to meet the objectives of the meeting. All presentations will be 30-45 minutes in length.

Costs

Accepted speakers are responsible for all costs associated with attending the Conference and presentation of the paper. There will be no compensation for accepted Abstracts.

The submission form will consist of 5 steps.

  1. Title
    • Enter the Title and your email address. Add comments to organizers if there are any.
  2. Category
    • You will select the type of paper you are presenting- which topic does the paper cover?
  3. Author/Presenter
    • You will enter information about each author, including Name, Address and Institutional Affliations.
  4. Abstract Text
    • You will enter your abstract text. The text must include the following headers:
      1. Presentation Content/Descriptive Paragraph
      2. Learning Objectives
      3. Session Outline
      4. References (Optional)
    • The text (not including the headers) should be less than 1000 words.
  5. Confirmation

Submissions Closed

Once you have submitted the title of your presentation you will automatically receive an email that includes a password-protected hyperlink. If you must interrupt the submission process before finishing it, you can resume at any time by clicking on the hyperlink in that email. Abstract submissions and revisions are no longer being accepted.

But you can still view your abstract. If you can find the confirming email mentioned above (from ahima@confex.com) then you will have found a direct link to your submission. If you remember the abstract ID# and password, enter those codes below.
